Devlog #3: Language system finished
Hello all,
it's time again for a developer entry. This one is short, but should still be interesting. Let's start:
We have been working on the languages and have now implemented the whole language system. This means that you can select the language by clicking on it...that's it?
Not quite, because the game is moddable at this point. We provide an editor with or shortly after the release, with which new languages can be added to the game or existing ones can be changed. Without an editor this would also work, but why give up comfort?
This means that if someone is not familiar with the English language, someone else from the community can localize the game - without us having to change anything in the program code. Isn't that great? :)
What's next? We will now take care of the main menu. This should already be fully functional and link to the different areas of the game. The areas will have representative graphics so that we can show something to the visitors of Amiga38. In addition, we are still sticking to the plan that you can also play a mission at Amiga38.
